This project
involved converting the back third of a garage into a
laundry/utility room.
The work was
completed in less than a week and I'm sure you agree from the
first picture to the last the change was quite significant!

The garage was
bare brick with open joists and plywood roof. We have
lined the walls with Gypliner to create a cavity and ran a
standard 50mm stud wall to divide to the garage.

The garage sat a
fair distance from the house so we had to dig a track (the
hardest bit!) and lay some hdpe pipe below ground to the
desired entry point of the garage.

The plasterboard
is now up and the ancient strip light has been demounted from
the ceiling, we have also boxed and faced the door frame back
to the plasterboard also at this stage.

All joints have
now been taped and filled and the skirting is on also - the
baton for the suspended ceiling is also on...time to hide that
ugly ceiling!

Floor is now in,
walls sanded and painted, suspended ceiling and spot lights
installed (we chose a suspended ceiling as the garage has a
flat roof and if there is any water ingress in the future
access will be quick and easy). Pipework is now place also and
sink and worktops in place - little bit still to go but..

That's it all but
done now...got the washing machine plumbed in and tiled splash
back is now in also. Dunno who walked across the wall
but....?
